We have the following opportunities to do business with Burke County:

HANDICAPPED PARKING PROJECT

Notice is hereby given that the Burke County Board of Commissioners will let a contract to the lowest responsible, qualified, bidder by sealed bids submitted to the Burke County Board of Commissioners, P.O. Box 89, 602 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830, no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday January 14, 2020, for the provision of two handicap parking spaces and ramp along Myrick Street adjacent to the Burke County Judicial Center.

Bids  will  be  opened  during  the  Commissioners’  meeting  at  6:00  p.m.  that  same  day.   NO CONTACT can be made with the Facilities Director or  any  other  Burke  County  personnel. Contacting any individuals with Burke County will immediately disqualifyany bidder.

Bidders can obtain electronic bid  documents  by  sending  an  email  to  info@carterwatkins.com. All questions regarding bid documents shall be sent  to  the  same email address. No questions will be answered viatelephone.

Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman’s Compensation Insurance will be required with The Burke County Board of Commissioners listed as an additional insured.

The Burke County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award  the  bid  based  on  the  highestand best interests of Burke County.

Utilities for Hwy 24 Site (EOC, Recreation, Animal Shelter)

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Burke County Board of Commissioners will let a contract to the lowest responsible, qualified, bidder by sealed bids submitted to the Burke County Board of Commissioners, P.O. Box 89, 602 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830, no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday January 14, 2020, for the new water line, sewer line, lift station, and related work at the County Parcel at Hwy 24 and the By-Pass.
