Public Meeting - Pre-Disaster Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

Burke County will hold its annual review of their FEMA approved Multi-Hazard Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan on February 8, 2016 at 10:30 am in the Burke County Library Auditorium located 130 Hwy 24 S., Waynesboro, GA. Civic organizations, local businesses, and citizens of Burke County, as well as the cities of Girard, Keysville, Midville, Sardis, Waynesboro and Vidette are encouraged to attend. The purpose of the meeting is

to update hazard information, identify implemented mitigation actions, to identify any new mitigation actions needed and a general review of the plan. Please contact Burke County EMA  Director, Rusty Sanders, at 706-554-6651 if you have any questions.
